As you may know, LETS Grow Free is a not-for-profit organisation, entirely run by volunteers. However, some of our volunteers are needing to step back in order to focus on their personal lives and families. As a result, we’ll be minimising our operations in 2025.

With a heavy heart, we’re pausing programs such as bulk buys, social get-togethers, market days, wellbeing zooms, and other initiatives.

While we initiated these programs with great enthusiasm, our aim was always for community members like you to continue them. If you feel called to help, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

What this means for our valued registered members;
We deeply care about the connections and community we’ve built together, and we want to keep LETS Grow Free alive in some capacity. For now, we’ll be simplifying our approach and focusing mainly on the trading platform itself.
Here’s what we will continue to offer:

✅ LETS Grow Free Trading Platform: We’ll keep the platform active, so you can continue to search for and post your offers and needs.
✅ Support for Trade Days/Markets: We’ll assist you in hosting local markets at your venue or home.

How you can help:
If you’re interested in helping to continue the spirit of LETS Grow Free, we’d love to hear from you! Here’s how you can get involved:

✅ Coordinating a Bulk Buy – If you're willing to coordinate a bulk buy for your local area, we’d love to support you.
✅ Leading a Community Working Bee – Help us organise efforts to assist vaccine-injured and elderly members of our community.
✅ Volunteering for the BnB Accommodation Database – Dedicate 4 hours per week for at least 3 months to help build and grow our LETS Grow Free BnB accommodation database.

We understand these are big asks, but together we can continue fostering the community spirit that LETS Grow Free is built on. Thank you for your understanding, support, and ongoing commitment to our mission. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.
